Both of them are me.
At work I'm steady: structured, decisive, a little commanding. Off the clock I'm closer to a golden retriever, and usually moving to something.
Loud rain. Very calm mind.
Coming down a mountain in heavy rain, a whole valley in front of me: wet soil, small flowers getting wet, and just breathing. In a city a building interrupts every view. Up there I remembered how far my eyes could see.
I only started travelling this year. Closer to home, the same quiet comes from small things: the smell of the first rain, a long walk, a late-night drive with the music up, and trees, which I will happily hug.
More about the people than the place.
Family comes first: my parents, my grandparents and my younger brother. I don't need to be the loudest one in the room, just with the right people in it.
On my first trek I walked in with strangers of every age and walked out with friends. Watching people twice my age give it everything stayed with me. The best plans usually end in food: chole bhature, dosa, gulab jamun, or a good smash burger.
Stories about effort.
Also on the shelf: Bleach, Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, Mob Psycho 100, Attack on Titan, Kaguya-sama and more.
Growth is a spectrum.
Career is one direction. I want the others too, starting with an ordinary day that has room for movement, people and rest. It isn't my routine yet.
- 06:30Yoga, strength or a run
- 08:00A breakfast I make myself
- 10:00Focused work, with groove breaks
- 18:00Laptop shut, hibiscus tea
- 19:00An evening walk
- 20:30Dinner and long conversation
- 22:00Uno, and a dog or cat someday
And through all of it: even without a smile, just be kind.
